INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
January 2012-May 2012: Jefferson Street Christian Church, Lincoln, IL, Worship Ministry Intern
I worked as an intern under Worship Minister Bill Lewis as part of the fulfillment of my Bachelors Degree from Lincoln Christian University. I was put in charge of preparing and organizing the music for Sunday services, constructing the Keynote presentation for Sunday morning, and creating the cue sheet for service. I participated in the Worship Band as singer, piano player, drummer, and sound tech. My duties also included attending weekly production and planning team meetings, evaluating the services, and attending Seminary Chapel in order to participate in community worship.
Summer 2010: First Church of the Nazarene, Galesburg, IL, Worship Minister’s Assistant
I worked as an Intern doing work under the Senior, Associate and Worship Pastors as well as working hand in hang with the janitorial staff. Duties included painting rooms, cabinets, and house in the surrounding community, as well as, working on the grounds of the church. It also involved helping to plan Sunday worship services and assisting with the summer musical.
